Johannes Roberts' 2019 survival horror film 47 Meters Down: Uncaged is a stand-alone follow-up to 47 Meters Down (2017). The narrative centers on four adolescent girls who go on an exciting dive into an underwater Mayan city: Mia (Sophie Nélisse), Sasha (Corinne Foxx), Alexa (Brianne Tju), and Nicole (Sistine Stallone). Their adventure soon turns fatal when they discover that they are stranded in a maze of underwater caverns that are home to extremely hostile and sophisticated blind sharks.
